About Me

Hi, I’m the human behind The Paperhound Online Bookshop — a little side project born out of my love for old books, quiet afternoons, and the joy of sending books off to new homes.

By day, I work in architecture and study psychology, but in the background of everything — always — is reading. I’m slowly building a small, intentional library of books that speak to me, comfort me, challenge me, or just feel like old friends. Along the way, I’ve ended up with more books than one person reasonably needs, so I started The Paperhound as a way to share the overflow.

I call myself a bibliophilic existentialist — which is just a fancy way of saying I’m someone who loves books so much it actually makes me a little sad. Sad that there’ll never be enough time to read everything, to know everything, to fall in love with every story I come across. But there’s beauty in that too — in choosing carefully, in lingering, in letting go.

So this little shop is part curation, part catharsis. Every book you see here has passed through my hands and my heart, and it’s here because I think it deserves another chance to be read, dog-eared, and loved again.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you find something that makes your shelf — and your soul — a little fuller.

Happy reading!

Angelique
