Once I have received your request, I will do my best to locate that title.
What if I found the book?
Upon successful book hunting, I will send you a quotation, the book’s condition and any other relevant information. Simply let me know if you would like to proceed with the order.
What about costs and finder’s fees?
My finder’s fee is included in the final price I quote you. This fee covers the time and effort spent tracking down your requested book.
Typically, the total cost for found books will include:
- The book price (based on condition and availability)
- My finder’s fee (usually around R50–R100 depending on complexity)
- Shipping (if applicable)
You’ll always get a clear quotation before you decide. No surprises, no obligation.
How to secure your special request order?
Once I find your requested book and you agree to the quoted price, full payment (including shipping) is required and must clear in the shop’s account before I procure the book for you.
Please note:
- Special request books cannot be cancelled or refunded once they have been paid for and are in the process of being procured.
- This policy helps cover the cost of sourcing books that aren’t part of my regular stock.
